Marycruz Gomez

Marycruz Gomez was born in Mexico. At the age of 12, she came to Texas to live with her family. During middle school,  her ESL teachers became her inspiration to become a bilingual teacher. Ms. Gomez has been a one- way and two-way dual language teacher for 6 years. She was a co-presenter at a writing workshop that was held for all fourth-grade teachers in her district. She also served as a writing coach at her campus for 3 years. Ms. Gomez’s passion is to motivate her students to become the best writers they can be and to have confidence in themselves.
