Imagine having the opportunity of going through the struggle of becoming
bilingual first hand.
Imagine having on your hands the chance of raising a bilingual child. Now
mix it up with a heart and conviction for bilingual education and you'll
know what Jorja is all about.
She was raised in the frontier city of Juarez, learning Spanish as her
first language. She was immersed in an English setting until college,
experiencing what becoming bilingual truly is.
Her days are filled with the hands-on experience raising a bilingual child
with her toddler, and she puts her knowledge of education tools in motion
by teaching K-5 students in Texas.
She loves connecting and sharing her ideas with dual language educators.
