Biography
Irene Post received her bachelor’s degree in education and psychology from Columbia University and holds a master’s degree in literacy from Bank Street College of Education. Irene is a bilingual educator with ten years of classroom teaching experience. Currently, she works in Chicago, Illinois but spent six years teaching in New York City prior to relocating. In addition to her work in schools, Irene works as an Illinois Teach Plus Policy Fellow, as a teacher researcher with The Learning Agency Lab, and as a graduate level adjunct instructor at Northeastern Illinois University College of Education. Irene is a fierce advocate of bilingual education and works to improve the bilingual program within her school.
